so i'm still not really using LJ, i swear. but my brother, DJSunkid, (see? i don't even know how to link that!) has suggested that the LJs i regularly lurk on, i should friend. he pointed out that one of these in fact already friended me. Oooooo! the crazyness of it! it was like finding out that cute guy/girl you've been getting all weak-kneed around the entire year of grade eight actually knows your name!
or something.
but then my brudder suggested that the other LJ i lurk on might become friendslocked. i only recently learned what this means, and gasp, horror, what would i do?! de-lurk? but when??!!
so i went to the journal to see if i could usefully delurk on a recent post. it didn't seem right!!
and then, GASP, i friended HER!!!!! but like, what if she thinks i'm CRAZY?! but i just like reading her take on stuff and plus she's funny!
oh, the angst and the not-knowing the etiquette of making internet friends! i'm not nerdy enough? or hip enough? i don't know!
so, my middle ground for now is this post, in case she somehow is able to know that she's been friended by this weird white cat pillow eater. i'm you know, cool n'stuff! i have, you know, a blog n'stuff but it's on blogger!
and hopefully soon i can delurk more elegantly, with a carefully crafted comment to show how unpsycho i am. then i will delete this evidence of weakness and unhipness!!!
**disclaimer: it is 1.5 hours too late for me to be up, and so the exagerated version of my wondering-how-to-make-'friends'-so-i-can-keep-lurking-or-maybe-comment is clearly exagerated. and my spelling clearly worsening by the mintue. but the more i swear i'm not crazy, the worse it gets. and so, to bed!
